For Americans saving for retirement, Wyoming’s loose tax code has helped propel it to the front of the pack.

Notably, residents don’t pay state taxes on wages or capital gains. Both of these exemptions allow workers to save noticeably more of their earnings. What’s more, even before the tax breaks, Wyoming residents have well-above-average incomes. For 2010, the state’s average per capita income is estimated at $45,584. The One that Got Away

billcuttyBill Healey of Live Water Properties caught a 19-inch cutty on the Snake River yesterday.  The fish slipped away just before Bill could turn around for a picture.  Bill appears empty-handed in the photo just after the trout got away.  The group floated from Deadman’s Bar to Moose Landing on the Snake River.

Fishing on the Wind River Indian Reservation

Bill Healey of Live Water Properties caught a nice brown trout on the Wind River Indian Reservation in July while fishing with friends.  He landed the trout just before the group stopped for lunch.  Of course, the fish wasn’t part of the midday meal; he was happily released back into the river waters.

Tuna Fishing in Oregon

dsc00083resized2Ryland Moore and Spencer Frantz of Live Water Properties caught 23 Albacore tuna in early August about 55 miles from Newport, Oregon.   Fishing off of a 26-foot Striper they caught many 20-pound fish with some weighing in over 25 pounds.
